Updated: Clay County Indiana Deputy Shot - Non- Life-Threatening Injuries
CLAY COUNTY - (December 3, 2021) - Update - Suspect in custody following stand off has ended. More information will come later.
A Clay County Indiana Sheriff's Deputy has been shot. The deputy was airlifted from the scene to a hospital to what is being reported as a non-life-threatening injury.
The incident happened near State Road 59 in the New Brunswick area just south of Clay City.

The suspect as of 10:00 a.m. has not been taken under custody and several law enforcement agencies are on the scene. Clay City Junior - Senior High School was under lockdown according to Associated Press reports.
