Bedford North Lawrence High School Principal and Assistant Principal Resigns
BEDFORD - JULY 21, 2023 - Both the Bedford North Lawrence High School principal and BNLHS Assistant Principal resigned their positions.
Jordan Key, principal Bedford North Lawrence High School resigned effective July 21st, and Christina Layton, Assistant principal resigned effective July 27,2023.

In addition, more than 80 years of work experience resigned or retired during the end of the 2023 school year with the latest round of personnel changes.
School board member Jeff Lambrecht wanted to point out the great loss to the school corporation and thanked them for their service to the community.
The teacher resignations include the following:
Emma Brown - resignation as Shawswick 6th Grade teacher effective 2023-2024 school year
Molly Embree - resignation as Needmore Elementary teacher effective for the 2023 - 2024 school year
Noelle Jean - Resigning as BNLHS math teacher effective 2023 - 2024 school year
The retirements from North Lawrence Community Schools include:
Polly Craig - BNL Counseling Administrative assistant with 36 years of service to NLCS
Lois Guthrie - Shawswick Instructional aide effective July 12, 2023 after 24 years of service to the
Ann Yates - Retiring as Shawswick Administrative assistant effective July 25, 2023, after 21 years of service
