MONROE COUNTY - SSEPTEMBER 10, 2023 - Indiana State Police responded to a semi-accident which overturned Thursday morning.
The accident reported at10:10 am.

A 52-year-old Bedford man who was traveling northbound Indiana State Road 446 in a 2000 International semi-tractor and went off the eastside of the highway.
The driver was able to exit on his own. He was taken by IU Lifeline ambulance to IU Health Hospital Bloomington.
At the time of the accident the trailer was hauling limestone blocks which took several hours to remove.
Both lanes of traffic were closed until 3:45 pm.
The Indiana State Police cited the driver for driving a commercial motor vehicle while having an invalid driving status.
Indiana State Police, Monroe Fire Protection District, and IU Lifeline Ambulance responded to the incident.
