BLOOMINGTON - ( January 27, 2021) - An airplane landed safely at the Monroe County airport after reports of smoke in the cock pit.

At 1:01 a.m. Thursday morning the Monroe Fire Protection District was alerted to the possible emergency.
There was no fire or injuries reported.

No injuries were reported and the aircraft had to be assisted off the runway.
