Williams Indiana Beautiful Place in Lawrence County's Western Edge

WILLIAMS - (March 26, 2022) - " Country Roads Take Me Home" well it may not be West Virginia, however Williams, Indiana is its own picture-perfect place to be.

Known for Willliams Dam , and Covered Bridge, which only just one of many things that make the town a place to come see.

The population in 2010 claims 286 residents and probably for the people living there that is good enough.

Many motorcyclists pass through the town in the Fall to travel down State Road 450 from Bedford to Shoals in the fall to see the fall colors through Martin County.

The Mt. Olive Church is perfect place to overlook the White River, and until the construction of a new bridge a perfect place to take a photo of the Covered Bridge.

For the photographer there is many places to snap a picture of nature, or just the historical value of many of the places of homes, few buildings and Church of Christ Cemetery that sits on a the hill that overlooks the town.

For those who like another view can travel the Ridge Road from Fayetteville into Williams with a breath taking view of the town and White River.

For the anglers you can stop in at the White River Bait & Tackle hear about a few fish stories while you buy your bait. Then, find out how the fish are biting before finding your favorite spot to try your luck on the White River.

Go and see for yourself whether Williams is a place to create a canvas painting.
