There were no reported injury accidents. Six of the calls were reported as “slide-offs” with minor damage and seven calls required accident reports. Five of the crashes occurred on state roads and eight crashes occurred on county roads.

Sheriff Miller said the county roads are still snow covered and slick and he is urging citizens to slow down and use caution when traveling during the next 24 hours. Please allow yourself a little extra travel time and arrive safely at your destination.

Temperatures are expected to rise above freezing over the weekend and travel conditions will improve.

Drive safely and don’t forget to wear your seatbelt.
