CAMPBELLSBURG - APRIL 19, 2024 - On Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at approximately 4:39 pm, members of emergency services responded to a single vehicle rollover accident, near 1305 N. Purkhiser Road, Campbellsburg, Indiana.
Evidence at the scene and statements obtained by investigating officers revealed Makinsey Green, age 18, of Salem, was driving northbound on Purkhiser Road, in a Cadillac Escalade.
Skylar Bullock, age 19, of Salem was a passenger in Green’s vehicle. Green said she over corrected her vehicle on the gravel road and lost control of her vehicle. Green said her vehicle slid sideways off the roadway and rolled over. Green and Bullock were transported by EMS to Saint Vincent Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Deputy Paul Reyling is the investigating officer and was assisted by Deputy Hailee Lopotosky, members of the Washington County Ambulance Service, Campbellsburg Volunteer Fire Department and Salem Fire Department.
