LAWRENCE COUNTY - NOVEMBER 8, 2022 - Voter's head to the polls across the state, with the polls opening at 6:00 a.m. however, many have already taken advantage of Early voting and over 1,100 absentee ballots sent out for this year's General Election.
The school board races for North Lawrence Community School Corporation and Mitchell Community School board seems to be the biggest interest in this year's election.
Early this morning the Needmore polling site, seemed to the busiest location with a several voters heading inside to cast their vote.
Polls close at 6:00 p.m.
Lawrence County Zephyr will be providing full election coverage as the six polling sites reports their returns at the Lawrence County Voter registration office this evening.
