Upon arrival CJFT found two vehicles with heavy damage. One vehicle still had two occupants trapped inside of the vehicle. The other vehicle occupants were out when we arrived.

The two occupants that were trapped had their lower extremities pinned underneath the dash. After an hour of extrication both occupants were removed from the vehicle and flown to Evansville by Air Evac helicopters with non life threatening injuries.

Extrication was extended because of the significant front end damage and the floor board being pushed up into the interior of the car.

The occupants in the other vehicle was transported for evaluations by Greene County Ambulance.

Special thanks to Indiana State Rep. Jeff Ellington, Greene County Sheriff’s Department, Beech Creek Fire and Greene County Ambulance Service for your help on scene.
