Two land in Orange County Jail for Vehicle Thefts and other crimes

Paoli Police Department Responds to Anonymous Tip, Makes Significant Arrests

Paoli, IN - The Paoli Police Department would like to inform the public of a successful operation stemming from an anonymous tip received regarding suspicious activity in our community. Acting swiftly on this information, the Paoli Police Department obtained and executed a search warrant for a room located at the MidWest Inn.


During the execution of the warrant, officers recovered a firearm that had been reported stolen from a vehicle on Cook Street.


Additionally, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia was discovered within the room. Further investigation revealed multiple items linked to ongoing vehicle theft investigations being conducted by the West Baden Police Department. These items were promptly turned over to their department for further analysis.


As a result of this operation, Levi Sons, 20 years old, and Ryan Sons, 22 years old, were taken into custody. Charges against them include unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen firearm, theft, possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, and maintaining a common nuisance.
