Center Jackson Fire Territory responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 69 near Mile Marker 101.5 at approximately 6:00 pm.

Upon arrival units found a vehicle over the embankment on its driver's side. Due to position of the vehicle, the occupants were trapped.

The vehicle was approximately 250 feet over the embankment which made the rescue efforts a little more difficult due to the angle and steepness of the hill.

A low angle rope rescue was performed and both patients were safely brought back up to roadside.
