LOOGOOTEE - JUNE 17, 2022 - Martin County Emergency personnel were called to a traffic accident on U.S. 231 at the Alfordsville turnoff.
The call reporting the accident came in just before 4:00 p.m. Friday afternoon.
There were several vehicles involved in the accident including one that was hauling a boat.
Three people were reported injured to be transported to local hospitals. The injuries were not life threatening according to emergency personnel.
The roadway is closed while emergency personnel are working the accident.
Martin County Sheriff's, Martin County EMS, Dubois County EMS, and Loogootee Fire and Police assisted at the scene.
