BEDFORD - (January 11, 2022) - The Bedford Plan Commission moves Stone City Properties, Steve Evans proposal for a minor subdivision on to a public hearing.
The request for a minor subdivision for 1201 Limestone Drive and adjoining vacant land. The request to divide the property into three parcels. Total land to be divided is 54 acres.

In the proposed subdivision, Lot 3 of the subdivision includes the location of new proposed Lawrence County Jail presented to the Lawrence County Commissioners recently.
No decisions have been made on the proposed $46 Million Jail.

Members was updated on Bedford Police Department new location which is still in progress for the purchase of the property. In addition, members asked about the proposed Round - A - Bout at John Williams Blvd. and Beech Street was asked about with Brandon Woodward advising that work continues to acquire property and surveys for the area. The project is still aways from starting at this time.
