Spring Fest - Helps Springville Community Academy

SPRINGVILLE - JUNE 5, 2022 - The first Spring Fest was a success both for the Springville Community Academy and the community itself. The event was used to help benefit the Springville Community Academy a charter school in Lawrence County.

Saturday morning the long list of activities included the Hornet Hustle with Lawson Grissom being the winner. Grissom crossed over the finish line at 21:37.


Pancakes on the ready Saturday


At the Springville Community Academy many turned out for the pancake breakfast. Many financial contributions helping with the new charter school that is expected to open up this school year in August.


There was a large turnout for the Pancake Breakfast Saturday at the Springville Community Academy


Radio personalities from WBED Shannon and Deb provided a Live Broadcast to invite the crowds to come and see the many offerings afforded at Spring Fest.


There were plenty activities for the children with bouncy houses, and Kids Carnival. A vendor market, music by Kathy and Greg Baker, Kiss A Pig contest, and the evening concluded with the Alumni Banquet.



Many was taking back with the history of Springville and Perry Township with the township long history of making sure education was a priority for the community.


Attendees of the Springville Alumni Banquet got to relive the past - past school experiences with the Old Springville School with the high school located downtown Springville


This is the start of many activities that will be centered at the Springville Community Academy in the future.


The dolls made by Ann Armstrong was an nice attraction - over 32 vendors sold a variety of product during this years Spring Fest
