Reynolds appears in court on Monday for initial hearing in causing death of Bedford woman

LAWRENCE COUNTY - SEPTEMBER 19, 2021 - Aaron Reynolds 35, Bloomington, was arrested on a warrant for dealing a controlled substance resulting in death schedule 1, 2, and 3 last Wednesday.

Reynolds was arrested Wednesday September 12,th, by Indiana State Police Drug Enforcement, South District ERT, , Bloomington and Jasper District at 9:30 am in connection with the death of a Lawrence County woman.

Reynolds appeared before Judge Bob Cline in Lawrence County Superior Court II Monday afternoon by video from the Lawrence County Jail.

Reynolds is charged with a Level - 1 Felony which he is facing a 20 - 40 years prison sentence.

Judge Cline asked Reynolds if he understood the charges and he replied "I do not," said Reynolds.

Judge Cline read the charging information to him line by line, which Reynolds responded that he understood each.

Reynolds is being held on a $200,000 surety or 10 percent cash bond. Judge Cline appointed

Reynolds a public defender.

At this time the Lawrence County Prosecutor Samuel Arp II has not released the victim's name.

His next court appearance will be a Pre-trial conference scheduled for November 16th at 8:00 am.
