Outbuilding and approximately 2 Acres Burn in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY - ((December 14, 2021) - An outbuilding and approximately two acres burned in Orange County Tuesday afternoon.




The 911 call came into Orange County dispatch about 12:10 p.m. with a property owner reporting his outbuilding and near-by woods was on fire. The property located in the 7300 block of Vincennes Road in Orange County.



Firefighters from Orange County Rural District 1 and 2, U.S. Forestry Service, and Orleans Fire Department responded to the fire from Orange County.




At 12:41 p.m.Huron and Marion Township Volunteer Fire Department from Lawrence County responded. However, Marion Township was cancelled while enroute to the fire.




Firefighters were still on the scene at 2:00 p.m. with several tanker lining the county road in Northwest Orange County taking care of hotspots and making sure the fire was completely out.


No injuries were reported. No information on what caused the fire.
