Oolitc Town Council Updated on Stormwater Projects
OOLITIC - SEPTEMBER 1, 2022 - The Oolitic Town Council was updated on the stormwater projects that are underway in Oolitic.
A stormwater project at the intersection of 6th/Oak is about to get underway
The two-stormwater projects at 6th/Oak and Hall/Mathias are about one month behind however, is expected to be completed in the middle of November if the weather cooperates with the construction crews.
In other business:
Annette Norrick, Town Clerk reported a possible budget increase for the 2023 Budget Cycle the budget will be adopted at the September Monthly meeting
Annette Norrick, Town Clerk reports that they town may have overspent the budget in couple line items
Annette Norrick, Town Clerk asked that she be informed on purchases and authorization of lease agreements. A tank was purchased or leased at the Wastewater Treatment Plant and this purchase in the amount of $3,000 was not reported.
Approved the Oolitic VFD Roadblock on September 10, 2022
Authorized the purchase of a dump truck and Leaf machine up to $25,000
The Certificate of Deposits for the Town of Oolitic has been moved to Trust Indiana
Approved three building permits for the various construction projects
Approved a resolution for the purchase of the Dodge Durango at Peoples State Bank the vehicle is projected to arrive sometime next year.
Approved the purchase of Bat Houses to be placed around the water treatment plant in Oolitic
