BEDFORD - JUNE 6 2022 - One person was transported to IU Health Bedford Hospital following a motorcycle verses car accident at the intersection of 29th Street and Ted Jones Drive.
The driver of the passenger car was uninjured in the mishap.
The 911 call reporting the incident came in at around 11:15 a.m. Monday morning.
Witnesses told the Lawrence County Zephyr that a motorcycle attempting to turn on 29th Street pulled into the path of a passenger vehicle traveling eastbound on 29th Street.

The operator of the motorcycle was treated at the scene by personnel from the Bedford Fire Department, Seals Ambulance Service and IU Lifeline Ambulance Service. The operator was taken to IU Health Hospital in Bedford.
The injuries did not appear to be life threatening. A complete accident report was not yet available. Bedford Police is investigating the accident.
