MITCHELL - NOVEMBER 17, 2022 - One person was injured in a single vehicle traffic accident on Indiana State Road 37 early Thursday morning. The accident occurred just before the Orange County line.
The accident was reported at 3:18 a.m. to Lawrence County Central Dispatch.
The vehicle was landed in a ditch and was inverted when emergency personnel arrived. The driver was transported to St. Vincent Dunn Hospital complaining of arm pain.
Lawrence County Sheriff's Department, Marion Township Volunteer Fire Department, IU Lifeline Ambulance, and Mikel's Wrecker Service responded to the accident.
