No One Injured When Dump Truck Overturns Near Huron

HURON - MAY 26, 2022 - No one was injured when a dump truck which was traveling on U.S. 50 West near the Huron/Williams Road tried to avoid missing a falling tree. It was raining at the time of the accident which contributed to the accident.



The accident reported around 10:44 a.m. this morning.



U.S. 50 west was closed while the accident is being cleaned up.



Bland's Wrecker Service and Jackson's Heavy Haul was contacted to help upright the dump truck. Gravel was spilled over the roadway.



Lawrence County Sheriff's Department, Indiana State Police, IU Lifeline Ambulance Service, and Huron Volunteer Fire Department responded to the accident.


U.S. 50 west will be closed for several hours while cleanup efforts are uderway.
