BEDFORD - FEBRUARY 25, 2023 - There were no injuries following a fight that occurred between two Bedford North Lawrence High School students on Friday afternoon.
The incident was reported at 12:33 pm with the School Resource officers arresting one 16-year-old juvenile for disorderly conduct, and battery against a public safety official.
Both were 16-year-old males, but at this time according to the police log only one person has been arrested from the incident.
There were no injuries to the police officer after the juvenile was reported to have hit one of the school resource officers, while he was trying to detain the juvenile.
According to Chief Moore the incident report is not complete, before details of the incident can be released. Witnesses say that one of the juveniles could be seen striking a police officer and fleeing from at officers at one point before being detained.
The Lawrence County Probation Office has been contacted on this matter.
