LAWRENCE COUNTY - DECEMBER 21, 2022 - Newly elected officials for various offices in Lawrence County was sworn in at the Lawrence County Courthouse on Wednesday.

By statue all elected officials must take the oath of office and be bonded by the county or township. The Lawrence County auditor must make sure both are done, or the elected official cannot take office.

For office holders this is a humbling experience as they serve the public for the next four years.
