Neeson Memorial Saturday - 21 Teams Scheduled to Play at Otis Park Golf Course

BEDFORD JUNE 22, 2022 - The Neeson Memorial will be held on Saturday with 21 teams expected to hit the links.

This year, Otis Park Golf course is still among the favorites in the area, and despite some rainy days in the spring revenue is up.

John Beterges Golf Pro gave the Bedford Park Board an update on the latest events and programing on the Golf Course over the last month and later this summer.

• The Junior Golf program is in its 3rd week with over 46 participants, and there are two more camps left

• The 7-8 years olds had a nice turnout from 10:00 a.m. to noon, and 10-14 year olds from noon - 2:00 p.m. Tuesdays - Fridays

• Men's Senior City, Ladies City and Junior City will begin this weekend. The Men's Senior is filling up quickly, and there is still rooom in the Ladies City and Junior City.

• Junior Golf Leagues begin on Wednesday July 66th and there is room for more sign-ups

• Bedford North Lawrence High School won their conference championship on May 21st. Otis Park Golf Course hosted the event. The Stars Golfers won with a 325 beating Floyd Central by 7 shots. The STARS finished 3rd in the Bedford North Lawrence High School invite. The Golf team finished their season by advancing to the Regionals

• June 25 - June 26th - Ladies City Tee times 11:00 a.m.

• June 25th - June 26th - Junior City Tee times noon

• July 9-10, July 16-17 - Men's City Tee times 8:00 a.m.

• July 30 - Stenger Memorial - Shot gun 8:00 a.m. Bathhouse

• July 31 - American Legion - Shotgun 8:00 a.m.

• August 6 - Curt Gilstrap - Shotgun 8:30 Bathhouse

• August 13 - Bedford North Lawrence Girls Basketball Shotgun 8:00 am Bathhouse

• August 20 - Orleans Booster Club
