Mitchell Police Department Makes Drug Arrests

MITCHELL - AUGUST 5, 2022 - On August 4, 20202 at 1:30 a.m. the Mitchell Police along with a deputy from the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office, executed a search warrant signed by the honorable judge Bob Cline, in the 100 block of Grissom Avenue.

Eric King was wanted on two felony warrants for failure to appear as well as possession of meth, unlawful possession of a syringe, possession of paraphernalia,

Officers located multiple drugs including Methamphetamine, cocaine, drug paraphernalia consistent with the illegal sale of narcotics and two firearms. Over 50 used hypodermic syringes were located along with over a 100 new syringes.

Nikki Gammon was arrested on charges of possession of meth, unlawful possession of a syringe, and wanted on two warrants for failure to appear

Twofacebook.com/Lawrence-County-Zephyr-1111536780393f22/ individuals were taken into custody and are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. One of the individuals was wanted on two outstanding felony warrants for drug related offenses.
