Marshall Township TIF District Topic of Discussion Lawrence County Redevelopment Commission

LAWRENCE COUNTY - (December 3, 2021) - The Lawrence County Redevelopment Commission will meet next Thursday to discuss the Marshall Township TIF district.

The Lawrence County Redevelopment Commission will meet at 10:00 a.m. in the Lawrence County Courthouse.

The plan for the Marshall Township TIF district funds were to bring Broadband to the Lawrence County 4-H Fairgrounds. Smithville Fiber will be offering a variety of options and final cost of the project will be offered.

There is $250,000 currently in the Marshall Township TIF district.

The other options were to support the sewer project currently underway in the Judah area and Avoca/Marshall Township Recreation area.

The Marshall Township TIF District will expire next year.
