HARRODSBURG - (March 23, 2022) - A man was arrested after injuring his grandfather and setting his residence on fire.

Justin Hollingsworth, 29, Bloomington faces criminal charges of attempted murder, Level 1 felony, aggravated battery, Level 3 felony, and arson, Level 4 felony.
The charges come after Monroe Fire Protection district responded to a residential fire in the 8900 block of South Ketcham Road Tuesday night.
Deputies from the Monroe County Sheriff Department found a 72-year-old man injured with severe facial injuries. The man told sheriff's deputies that his grandson, Justin Hollingsworth over 10 times with a blunt object at least ten times. Hollingsworth set the home on fire with the victim still inside.
The victim was flown from IU Health Bloomington Hospital to Indianapolis Hospital for further treatment.
Hollingsworth was arrested at the scene, after emerging from the woods prior to the victim being transported to the hospital.
Hollingsworth was taken to Monroe County jail.
