LOCAL PHYSICIAN'S GROUPS TO OPEN LOCATIONS IN BEDFORD

BEDFORD - JANUARY 11, 2023 - Two local physician's groups are expected to open locations in Bedford.


During the Bedford Plan Commission meeting Brandon Woodward, Bedford Planning Director told those in attendance that despite the closing of St. Vincent Dunn Hospital many of the physicians and nurse practioners will be remaining in Bedford.


Southern Indiana Community Health will be locating in the Lincoln Pharmacy location. The pharmacy will remain in the plaza


Southern Indiana Community Health will be location in the Lincoln Plaza located in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. Carolyn Brown NPN and Tricia Spoonmore NPN is expected to open their practices at this location.


Lincoln Pharmacy will remain in the plaza.


Select Medical Outpatient Services is expected to open their practice 2600 block 16th Street in the former Papa John's location


Select Medical Outpatient Services is expected to open their practice in the former Papa' John's location in the 2600 block 16th Street.


Lawrence County Zephyr have reached out to the Select Medical outpatient services to inquire about their practice.



Woodward stated that there are couple businesses that are looking at potentially locating in Bedford. At this time, he could not disclose those businesses, but this would bring more employment and economic opportunities to the City of Bedford.


Both businesses are looking at various site locations throughout the city. When they formally announce Woodward will disclose this to the public.
