BEDFORD - SEPTEMBER 30, 2022 - The Lincoln Elementary School students had reason to raise some noise, in a celebration of reaching its fundraising goal for Lawrence County Patient Services.

The students raised over the goal of $1,000 and presented a check to Judy Heichelbech president of Lawrence County Patient Services in the amount of $2,097 and Hoosier Hills Credit Union presenting a check in the amount of $300 on Friday afternoon in the gym of Lincoln Elementary School.
" This is honor and a great cause, and this was great organization to raise funds for," Cassie Root Hoosier Hills Credit Union. Cassie Root is both a member of the Lawrence County Patient Services and Hoosier Hills Credit Union. HHCU donates to many causes throughout the area.
" This an exciting for us, we are overwhelmed with the excitement of the Lincoln Elementary School students this afternoon, we thankful for the kids to help our cancer patients," said Judy Heichelbech president Lawrence County Patient Services.
The students of Lincoln celebrated Fabulous Friday with honoring the students for their achievements over the Month of September.
Members of the Bedford North Lawrence High School Football team came along and help celebrate with the students, giving them high fives - and cheering on the students.
Various staff members were also honored for their hard work and dedication to the students.

Of course, the highlight of the day was Kissing the Pig of Lincoln Elementary School for shattering the goal of $1,000.
