BEDFORD- SEPTEMBER 27, 2022 - Lawrence County government will lose approximately $125,000 a year in lease revenue with the announcement of Ascension St. Vincent Dunn Hospital and practices will be closing effective December 16, 2022.
During the Lawrence County Commissioners meeting Ascension gave them notice the group will be cancelling their leases.
The Lawrence County Commissioners did not have any farther comment on the issue, or how they will market the buildings to future buyers or lease agreements.
SLM properties were given permission in a previous meeting to change lease agreements for their properties.
