LAWRENCE COUNTY - JULY 30, 2022 - Lawrence County Prosecutor's Office welcomes Jennifer Tucker-Young as our newest Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney. She was sworn in last Tuesday morning by Judge John Plummer III.
Jenny is a 1990 graduate of Paoli Highschool, a Purdue class of 1994 alumni where she obtained a BA in Communications and Political science allowing her to follow her dreams of becoming an attorney where she graduated in 1997 from the IU school of law.

Jenny started out her career as an attorney at her family’s law firm Tucker and Tucker in small town Paoli, Indiana, where her grandfather started the practice in 1933. She served as the Chief Deputy Prosecuting attorney in Crawford County for 2 years, and then later served as the Chief Deputy of Orange County for 11 years.
Jenny and her husband Todd Young share four wonderful children. Jenny’s husband, Todd Young is the Republican elected Senior United States Senator for the State of Indiana. She loves spending her free time with her children outside fishing, playing tennis, playing basketball, taking walks or reading a book.
When asked why she decided to accept the position, Jenny stated: “I admire the tremendous work ethic of Prosecuting Attorney Samuel Arp II, and his office as they continue to keep Lawrence County safe.”
