BEDFORD - (November 27, 2021)- A backhoe operator refused transport to the hospital after his backhoe turned over on Standish Steel Road Saturday night.
The call came in to Lawrence County Central dispatch at 7:32 p.m.
The accident report is not complete by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department.
Reports indicated the operator was trapped. Medical personnel from IU Lifeline Ambulance evaluated the patient at the scene.
Members of the Shawswick Volunteer Fire Department, Bedford Fire, IU Lifeline Ambulance, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department and Stat- Flight was dispatched to the scene.
The helicopter was not needed and was cancelled.
