Lawrence County Commission Five Year contract to Information Technology Services

LAWRENCE COUNTY - NOVEMBER 7, 2022 - The Lawrence County Commissioners awarded a $689,000 contract to Information Technology during the commissioners meeting on Monday. The contract is a minimum of 2,600 hours at a rate of $53/hour.

Information Technology Services is owned by Scott Nikirk, located on Avoca/Eureka Road in Bedford.

The contract includes network services and client-side support and maintenance, network infrastructure support and maintenance on the existing infrastructure. As well as IP phone trouble shooting and support through ESI, phone vendor.

The contact excludes hardware/software services, cabling sales and service, web-site design and hosting, telecommunications sales and services, security cameras, DVR

and all related hardware.

There are a total of 21 county departments added to the agreement and does not include work performed outside of normal business hours which is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The work performed outside of those times will be considered overtime.
