Lawrence County 4-H Fair Preservation Committee to Address Lawrence County Commissioners

LAWRENCE COUNTY - NOVEMBER 18, 2022 - The Lawrence County 4-H Preservation Committee will be addressing the Lawrence County Commissioners on Tuesday.

Lawrence County 4-H Fair 2022 - The Lawrence County Council cut the Lawrence County Preservation funding during the 2023 budget process . Jeff Lytton Lawrence County Council member requested the fund be removed.

The Lawrence County Council removed the committee's funding during the 2023 Budget process this year. Bill Spreen a member of the committee will be addressing the Lawrence County Commissioners.

The Lawrence County Commissioners and Lawrence County Council have different roles when it comes to approved or denying any request.

The meeting starts at 9:30 Tuesday morning at the Lawrence County courthouse.
