LARGE WIDE LOAD COMING THROUGH WASHINGTON COUNTY


WASHINGTON COUNTY - (February 1, 2022) - Sheriff Brent Miller is reminding motorists that we often have to share the road with wide loads. Sheriff Miller said a large wide load will be traveling through our county that will most likely cause a few traffic issues.




WHEN: February 01, 2022 TIME: Approximately 11:00 am-noon


This first wide load will be coming into Washington County on State Road 56 East. The load will move through Salem and leave Washington County on State Road 60 West.


The second large, extra wide load and several units will enter Washington County around 9:00 pm on State Road 56 East and enter Salem.

The load will then leave Washington County on State Road 60 West. NOTE: This load will be traveling very slow, APPROXIMATELY 10-12 M.P.H. Please be patient and use caution when traveling near these wide loads.
