Anthony D. Nash, 40, Mitchell, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony, on November 3, 2022, as a part of a negotiated plea agreement with the State of Indiana. He was originally sentenced to 910 days, with time served, and the remainder of his sentence suspended.
He was ordered to serve 546 days on supervised probation in exchange for his guilty plea. Among the terms of his probation, he was ordered to complete both Inpatient and Outpatient Drug Treatment Program. Mr. Nash agreed that the program would be completed at Transition Recovery.
However, on November 4, 2022, Nash left Transition Recovery against medical advice and did not complete treatment. Because of that probation violation, Cline sentenced Hayden to 900 days in the Indiana Department of Correction.
