Judah Festival Brings Crowds to Enjoy the Weekend of Fun and Entertainment

JUDAH - JUNE 19, 2-2022 - The Judah Festival has been a summer attraction for over 18 years in northern Lawrence County. The two-day festival brings everything that you would want out of a festival. Music, food, carnival rides, parade, vendors of all sorts, and concluded with patriotic fireworks show.


This year's event brought a great turnout of people to enjoy a weekend of fun and entertainment.



The car show brought over 92 entries to this year's festival crowds was able to look over a wide selection of cars, trucks and anything else that moved.



" Our car show this year, was very successful, and each we are pleased with the way the festival is going," Steve Jones one of the organizers of the event.



To bring in the crowds the WBED 90.1 entertained the radio listeners and wooed them to the busiest place in Lawrence County burg of Judah.


2022 Judah Festival Parade


Various parade entries from the usual emergency vehicles, old vintage cars, and more took part in the parade on Saturday afternoon. The children off course enjoyed carnival rides and other amusements.


Katelyn Stemle Miss Indiana State Festival Queen visited the Judah Heritage Festival Saturday


Ireland, Indiana resident Katelyn Stemle, Miss Indiana State Festival Queen who told the Lawrence County Zephyr she enjoyed the festival and meeting the residents of Lawrence County. Stemle attends Purdue University and studies medical lab sciences.



The music entertainment of this year's festival was raved about those who attended with a Garth Brooks tribute band "No Fences" on Friday night, and the Dynamics just prior to the fireworks on Saturday night concluded the music entertainment.



Karston Brim singer and musician locally, led the "National Anthem" to set off a spectacular show of fireworks to finish out the event.
