BROWN COUNTY - The Brown County Sheriff’s Office would like to recognize Todd Fisher, a local volunteer firefighter with the Jackson Township Fire Department #5.
At approximately 5:00 p.m. on Friday December 17, 2021, first responders from Brown and Monroe Counties were dispatched to the causeway on South Shore Drive (Lake Lemon) for a vehicle that was fully submerged in the lake with a single occupant still inside the vehicle. Todd Fisher went into the water and successfully rescued the female occupant. The female is safe and was treated by medical personnel.
According to reports the driver got to close to the edge of the road and ended up in the lake.
