LAWRENCE COUNTY - AUGUST 2, 2022 - The Lawrence County Commissioners have amended the payment on an invoice for work performed at the Indiana Farm Bureau Building at the fairgrounds.
The original invoice in the amount of $14,800, however the county commissioners learned that the Indiana Farm Bureau contributed $7,400 towards the project.
A committee consisting of Bill Spreen, Scott Smith, and Dustin Gabhart oversaw the project at the fairgrounds to ensure county funds were properly disbursed and work performed.
At the last, Lawrence County Council meeting Bill Spreen requested the payment of $14,800 but was learned that money was already put towards the project.
