HARRISION COUNTY - JANUANRY 3, 2023 - Update: Mr. and Mrs. Ferree have been safely located at approximately 8:50 am by Chief Brad Rothrock along with a family member and volunteer fireman Jake Gleitz. Great job to everyone who spent the night working diligently.

Jim Ferree
Last seen driving the pictured 2009 Blue 2500 Chevy Silverado bearing Indiana license plate TK747NEA. The truck has black and red “Farmall” front license plate.

Lena Ferree
Mr. Ferree is 90 years old and his wife, Lena is 89. Lena has onset dementia. Jim has no history of dementia but may have become confused while driving in the heavy rains at night.
Mr. and Mrs. Ferree were last seen near their home in Laconia Indiana at approximately 11:30 am on Monday, the 2nd of January.

The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department along with Harrison, Clark and Floyd County EMA have partnered with the Boone Township Volunteer Fire Department, the Elizabeth Fire Department, the New Middletown Fire Department and 51 documented community volunteers who have currently searched over 700 miles of roadway in Harrison County along with areas of Floyd and Meade County Kentucky.
The Harrison County Sheriff's Department are asking anyone traveling the roadways to pay close attention to embankments, wood lines, driveways, parking lots or any other location where Mr. and Mrs. Ferree’s truck may be parked and/or stranded.
A silver alert has been issued by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department.
