Greene County Firefighters Battling Large Structure Fire Saturday night

LYONS - NOVEMBER 12, 2022 - Several Greene County Fire Departments are working a large structure fire in the 3658 West block of County Road 500 South.

Lyons, Swiz City and Newberry, Taylor Township Volunteer Fire Departments have been dispatched to battle the large fire around 11:15 p.m.

Fire units on the scene report the structure is fully involved and will require a lot of water to battle the fire. Powerlines have been reported down and Duke Energy notified to respond.

At this time there are no reports of injuries.
