BLOOMFIELD - JUNE 15, 2022 - Firefighters in Greene County responded to a hay baler fire which caught the nearby field on fire. The fire was on Sharky Road just south of State Road 54 west of Bloomfield.

The call came in at 4:22 p.m. reporting the fire. The fire was brough under control in thirty minutes.
Three fire departments were dispatched to fight the fire which include Center Township, Richland and Taylor Township Volunteer Fire Departments.
Firefighters are using brush trucks, Off Road Vehicles and tankers to bring the fire under control.
