French Lick Scenic Railway says that they were aware of an emergency call that went out stating a train was stuck at the tunnel, however at the time of call the train was at an event being held just north of Cuzco, Indiana.

Emergency personnel from the French Lick and Orange County Rural District 1 Fire Departments was sent to Tunnel 2 to assist the train crews from a call reportedly from railroad security. This has since been told be a hoax, and no one knows who reported this incident.

A severe thunderstorm passed through the area, and a second locomotive and Hi-Railer was used to check the tracks for any debris or obstructions along the railroad.

The train safely returned back to French Lick with no issues, according to officials.
