All drivers are reminded never to drive in flooded roadways. Jackson County emergency personnel have worked several water rescues over the last couple of weeks.

Jackson County also have passed an ordinance that drivers can be cited for driving in flooded waters and have to be rescued. This comes after the great frequency of water rescues and people driving around barricades that warn of the danger.
