SPANGDAHLEM, GERMANY - AUGUST 18, 2022 - A former Bedford North Lawrence High School Grad was awarded a Leadership Award from the United States Airforce.
Senior Airman Lexi Lewis
Senior Airman Lexi Lewis was nominated by her peers, and instructors, who then was selected by a Board of 1st Sergeants for this award.
The award is given to those who show superior leadership and academic performance.
" I am forever thankful for the people I surround myself with and who have taken the time to help mold me into the person I am today.," said Senior Airman Lewis on her award.
The Pitsenbarger Leadership School is the Airmen Leadership School which is the first level of Professional Military Education the enlisted Airmen experience. The school is designed to be an entry level leadership enhancement course to prepare senior airmen for positions of greater responsibility by strengthening their ability to lead, follow, and manage while also gaining a broader understanding of the military profession and their role within the Air and Space Forces.
