GREENE COUNTY - NOVEMBER 23, 2022 - Center -Jackson Fire Territory were dispatched for a structure fire in the 1800 block of North State Road 43 at approximately 10:05 pm.

Upon arrival units found the structure had smoke and flames showing. Crews deployed 2 attack line and made interior and exterior attacks. The fire was knocked down quickly but do to the type of construction it took a few hours to get the fire extinguished.
The homeowner stated the fire started by fireworks that fell on the deck that he had been lighting off.
