FIREFIGHTERS RESPOND TO VEHICLE FIRE ON U.S. 231 DRIVER TREATED FOR SMOKE INHALATION

LOOGOOTEE - DECEMBER 14, 2022 - Loogootee firefighters was dispatched to a vehicle fire early Wednesday morning on U.S. 231 near the Raglesville Road.

The call reporting the fire came in just before 6:00 a.m. this morning. The driver of the vehicle requested an ambulance for smoke inhalation.

U.S. 231 was closed or had some delays as emergency personnel worked the fire scene and treated the driver.

The cause of the fire is not known at this time, Martin County Sheriff's Department responded to assist at the scene of the fire.
