Firefighters Respond to Structure Fire Thursday Afternoon

SPRINGIVLLE - NOVEMBER 3, 2022 - Firefighters responded to Bedford Contingent Thursday afternoon for a structure fire. When firefighters arrived, they found light smoke showing throughout the building.

The 911 call reporting the fire came in around 4:00 p.m. with firefighters from Marshall Township, Perry Township, and Oolitic Volunteer Fire Departments dispatched to the fire.

The location of the fire was in the 3500 block of Springville/Judah Road.

Firefighters were able to get the fire quickly under control. At this time, firefighters did not know what might have started the fire. The building was locked at the time of the fire.

No other information is available at this time.

IU Lifeline Ambulance stood by at the scene at the fire while firefighters fought the fire. No injuries were reported.
