HARRODSBURG - (March 16, 2022) - The Monroe Fire Protection District responded to a structure fire in at 8989 Ketcham Road near Harrodsburg Wednesday night.
Firefighters arrived to find a working structure fire along with powerlines that fell on the ground. Duke Energy arrived to secure the power so firefighter could continue to extinguish the fire.
Public Information officer Jason Allen told the Lawrence County Zephyr that no there were no injuries to firefighters or civilians.
There is no report on what caused the fire at this time or what kind of material was stored in a metal building.

Firefighters remain on the scene finding hot spots and hidden fires throughout the structure.
