SPRINGVILLE - (March 31, 2022) - Firefighters from Greene, Lawrence and Monroe counties responded to a residential fire at 13152 East State Road 54 in Greene County Thursday night.
The fire was reported just before 8:00 p.m. with automated mutual aid departments called to assist.
The firefighters from Center-Jackson Fire Territory, Beech Creek Township, from Greene County, Perry Township Volunteer Fire Department, Lawrence Count, and Monroe Fire Protection District responded to the fire.
Firefighters were able to quickly get the fire under control.
The location of the fire was just past the Lawrence County line. Greene County Sheriff's Department has the roadway block while firefighters worked the fire scene.
The Greene County Ambulance Service stood by the scene while firefighters worked.
There is no word on what caused the fire, we will reach out to Center-Jackson Fire Protection District for more information. There were no reports of injuries.
