Firefighters Respond to Mobile Home Fire in Kirksville

KIRKSVILLE - (January 1, 2022) - The Monroe Fire Protection District responded to a mobile home fire Saturday afternoon in 7600 block of South Rockport Road near Kirksville.

Firefighters leaving the Kirksville Station could already see smoke coming from the structure. Firefighters finding smoke coming from the roof of the mobile home on their arrival.

Firefighters searched the residence for anyone inside the residence and began attacking the fire. No one was inside the residence, with no injuries reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
